Slow Flow
Slow Flow is a slower style Vinyasa with a focus on alignment and connection within. Listen to the subtle whispers of the body; create more awareness and more space within the body and mind. This class is balancing and strengthening for the body and the mind.
VinYin
A beautiful combination of Vinyasa Flow and Yin Yoga.
Vinyasa Yoga synchronises movement with the breath, working on strength, balance and flexibility while also incorporating breathwork, mindfulness and meditation. A dynamic style of yoga.
Yin Yoga is slow and deep - a time for slowing down, listening, obsverving, restoring, tuning in and bringing balance into body and mind.
The combination of both styles will get your energy moving and leave you feeling calm and balanced. The perfect balance of Yin and Yang. Suitable for all levels.
Yin
Yin yoga is a slower floor based practice. Each pose is held for anywhere from 3 to 7 mins looking beyond the muscles and targeting the deeper connective tissues (joints, joint capsules, ligaments, tendons and fascia). All tissues in the body need stimulation to be healthy and the connective tissues are no exception. Yin targets these deeper tissues to create a strong, healthy, mobile and spacious body, clearing blockages and encouraging energy flow. Yin is therapeutic for the body and the mind, a deeply healing practice. Suitable for all levels.
Slow Flow Restorative
The perfect class to relax and unwind at the end of the week. Slow conscious movements synchronized with breath; longer held postures supported by props to allow for deep release; breath awareness; mindfulness and meditation. Calming the nervous system and bringing peace and balance back into body and mind will have you ready to drop off into a peaceful slumber.
Take some time for you!
· Bring along your own mat and a water bottle.· Wear comfy clothes that allow you to move easily.· Try to avoid eating at least 2 hours before practice. · If you have/ had any injuries please let us know. · Listen to your body… no one knows your body like you do!· Beginner friendly classes.· If you are unwell, please stay home.
